I have the full series as well. Concerning my favorite, it very much depends on the character:
- Freezie Crown for my ele, it's just too adorable.
- Great Horns of Grenth for my ranger, she looks like an ancient goddess with them.
- The original Yule Cap for my monkette, there's just something fetish-y in petite women with fur-lined hats.
- My necro used to like the Wicked Hat but the new Zombie Facepaint is quite awesome.

Same here - I had Proph at launch, but didn't settle into Guild Wars until Factions, so I managed to miss all events prior to the Dragon festival. Haven't missed one since, but given that they have our emails for logging in, I always wished there'd been a newsletter.

I agree on the Furious Pumpkin Crown - I'm not sure why people bitch about it, the face seems more like something I'd carve into a pumpkin than the original. I do *love* the Dragon mask, though. Partly because it's the first I got, also because it's dyeable and it's just plain great! I guess we can't all have taste . Until recently I wore it at every event, on every character, but I've now retired it on my main, because it seems to glitch when worn with EotN gloves.
Favourites beyond that are the Jester cap - again dyeable and just seems to look great with all classes/armours. Then the Wicked hat, especially the male version. Finally, both of this years halloween masks are keepers, especially the Zombie face paint.

I like the Ice Crown on my Para (in her blue Deldrimor armor) and with my necro's elite sunspear. I like switching from my rit's Ancient headpiece to the new zombie paint ("This is why I keep my mask on"). I like the 2005 Yule cap on most characters, and the Horns of Grenth on my ranger. I like the Dragon and Lion ones too, especially because they are dyeable.

Well, to be fair it's much better now. There's official announcements, e.g. on the log-in screen, not just garbled he-said-she-said whispers through the grapevine like in 2005 - and they no longer give out wintersday hats between 8 in the evening and 8 in the morning (CET) on new years eve.
I also think the Floral Wreath gets hated on unfairly - it's very detailed and looks good on female avatars. But, OK, perhaps not so good on male warriors.

I owned the game and played occasionally since late 2005, but my first actual hat is the lion mask from the canthan new year (which of course is now available every year and is not special at all) I think the dragon mask from the first festival is coolest, and I really wish I had it but I didn't know about it back then. Second I'd say the pumpkin heads, neither of which I have. Third best imho are the santa hats, which I don't have either sense a trend here? I think if they repeat the lion mask for new year, they should put out a santa hat for wintersday every year, come on. My favorite of those I have is probably lupine mask or lion mask.

My existing hat collection seems to start with Dragon Festival then skip to Wintersday 2006. My guildmate and I both remember that I got the Wicked Witch hat, but it's not to be found on my hat list. Somehow I must have deleted it without showing it to the NPC when he arrived.
But enough crying over spilt milk - my favorite hats are the 2006 Santa and the Dragon.
Love all the hats really - they represent memories of the fun I had.

I am slightly jealous of the exclusivity of the Tengu Mask. That would probably have been my second-favorite mask. Hands down, my favorite mask is definitely the Dragon Mask.
My least favorite masks are undyeable ones.

Favourites are Pumpkin Crown, Yule Cap, Tengu Mask, Dragon Mask, Wicked Hat, Great Horns of Grenth, Wreath Crown and Grasping Mask.
Lease favourites are Scarecrow Mask, Mummy Mask, Ice Crown and Lupine Mask (just because it doesn't scale-to-fit and needs a female variant).
Unfortunately, I only have the hats from Halloween 2006 and beyond due to being out of town for the Factions pre-release and Dragon Festival.

I have them all. If I'm lucky, I'll keep the streak going as long as the game runs.
My favorite is probably the first yule cap.

I've had all the Halloween hats at one point or another. My favourite is the '05 Yuletide hat, shame I deleted it before the Hat NPC was introduced.
